Overview of pressure spray dryer
The pressure spray dryer is a device that can complete drying and granulation at the same time. The raw material liquid can be a solution, emulsion, or suspension, as well as a melt or paste. Dried products can be made into powder, granules, hollow spheres, or pellets as needed. According to the process requirements, the pressure, flow rate, and nozzle size of the material liquid pump can be adjusted to obtain the required spherical particles in a certain size ratio.
Working principle of pressure spray dryer
The solution, emulsion, suspension or slurry is spray in hot air to form small droplets. During its floating down, the water is evaporated to form powder or granular products. Hot air is introduced at the top of the drying tower, and the material liquid is pumped to the top of the tower by a high-pressure pump. After being sprayed into mist like droplets by an atomizer, the droplets quickly evaporate when they come into contact with high-temperature hot air, and become dried products in a very short time, which are discharged from the bottom of the drying tower. After the hot air comes into contact with the droplets, the temperature significantly decreases and the humidity increases. It is extracted as exhaust gas by the exhaust fan, and the micro powder carried in the exhaust gas is recovered by the separation device.

According to different product characteristics and requirements, after spray drying, a secondary drying system (such as ZLG vibrating fluidized bed or air flow conveying), a dehumidification system, a batching system, or a powder screening system can be equipped. If the customer requires larger particles of the product, such as a diameter of 2-3 millimeters and increased solubility, our company can provide a separate agglomeration granulation system.

1. The drying speed is fast, and the surface area of the material liquid is greatly increased after atomization. In the hot air flow, 95-98% of the moisture can be evaporated instantly, and the drying time is only tens of seconds to tens of seconds, which is particularly suitable for drying heat sensitive materials.
2. The obtained product is spherical particles with uniform particle size, good flowability, good solubility, high purity, and good quality.

The particle size, bulk density, and moisture content of the product can be adjusted within a certain range by changing the operating conditions, making control and management very convenient.
